Westwood One is proud to announce the launch of The Dennis Miller Show. In his first ever radio show, five-time Emmy award winner and four-time Writers' Guild award winner, Dennis Miller will offer his unique take on the day's topics with comedy and satire. The daily 3-hour talk show will also feature Miller taking listener calls, as well as interviewing high-profile special guests. The show will debut in March 2007 on major market radio stations across the country. Westwood One will hold all broadcast and digital rights to The Dennis Miller Show including Dennis Miller's official website.
"This seems like a great fit for me since I grew up in Pittsburgh where broadcast radio was born," said Miller. "I always knew I would try radio and right now seems like the perfect time. In a world where the stakes are high, the medium is a nice blend of the comfortable and the provocative. The announcement was made in January 2007 by Westwood One CEO Peter Kosann. "This is an absolute home run. The website will also present advertisers and affiliates with increased opportunity over multiple platforms.
