Ken Burns, known for his epic documentary series (The Civil War, Jazz, The National Parks), joined Dennis on the show today to talk about The 10th Inning, his follow-up project to his 1994 project, Baseball.
As he explains in today's interview, there has been so much more to the story of baseball since 1994, from the MLB strike in '94 to a boom of building ballparks to the steroid scandals plaguing so many star players. Burns' 2-hour coda will examine the past fifteen years with his deft use of footage and interviews.
The 10th Inning will air on PBS in two parts on Sept. 28th & 29th.
